Origins & Lineup
Goatsilk began their journey in Pueblo in 2012 and later relocated to Denver to broaden their impact in Colorado’s metal scene. The current lineup is:
Jhode Romero– Guitar & Vocals /Jeremiah Bundy – Bass (returning) /Max Carrillo –Touring Guitarist / Fernando Lemus –Studio Drummer
Jeremiah’s return has reignited the rhythm section with tighter grooves and renewed energy.
Musical Achievements
Goatsilk’s catalog features visceral riffs, pounding drums, and emotionally charged lyricism. Highlights include:
“Nothing Compares” (Nov 8, 2014) – Achieved Top 5 status for five weeks and held the #1 spot for three weeks on Stone Chrome Radio.
“Suffering the Rain” (Jan 2015) – Further solidified their presence in the alt-metal community.
“Burn It to the Ground” (Mar 27, 2018) – Released as an official lyric video, recorded/produced/mixed at Aphotic Studios by Chris Dawson & Jimmy Beattie, and mastered at Rogue Planet Mastering by Mike Kalajian—this track garnered strong radio play on 94.3 KILO, 92.9 The X, and Australia’s Valley FM.
Label Placement & Compilation Feature
Goatsilk achieved a significant career milestone when “Nothing Compares” was featured on the EMP Underground Volume One compilation, released in 2016 by EMP Label Group (the label co-founded by David Ellefson of Megadeth). This appearance placed Goatsilk alongside other powerhouse acts on the EMP/Megaforce-affiliated sampler and further elevated their visibility across the metal community.
